Firefox completely unusable

| | Comments (2)

This is completely ridiculous: Firefox crashes about once per hour now. It's almost completely unusable.

UPDATE: it seems to be caused by the SWF files users have on their pages. Using ADBlock to remove those components from sight seems to have cleared it up.

It'll be the memory. Your life will change dramatically when you get 1 GB.

Nope, it's not RAM. This is on the Linux box, which has 768MB of RAM.

Safari on the Mac Mini is fine, it just stutters a bit when memory runs out. Which is practically all the time, as Tiger plus a few dashboard apps seems to take almost all of the 256MB.

It's only started happening recently after I upgraded to 1.0.3.
